Wombeatz CIC is a Leeds based social enterprise dedicated to promoting and training women in music technology.

Wombeatz mission is to increase gender equalities in the music industry by offering access to training, volunteer opportunities, role models and gateways into the industry.

Wombeatz delivers specialised courses in DJing, Sound Engineering and Events Promotion, as well as providing PA hire, Events Production and female Artists Management.

Wombeatz aims are to:

1. Provide courses and workshops for women and girls in: DJing, live sound engineering, studio engineering, events management and music production.

2. Bring new talent to the industry as well as showcase existing talent by hosting regular events, such as clubs nights, live events and festivals areas.

3. Provide work experience and volunteer opportunity in the following areas: events management, stage management and sound engineering.

4. Contribute to breaking down assumptions and stereotypes within the music industry by encouraging role models for future generations.

5. Provide women with work opportunities as sound engineers, tutors, events managers and artists.

6. Increase the profile of women working in the music industry and stimulate new collaborations and networks.
