DJ Euphonique

With a growing love for music and musical instruments from a very young age (from recorder and keyboard lessons to spending all her time recording her favourite music off the radio!) a career in Music was the only path for her. At the age of 14 she began songwriting and writing melodies on her keyboard, this slowly developed into software based musical creation and later lead to a summer school in Music Creation and Sound Recording.

At the age of 16 she found an interest in free parties and DJing, after a long year of borrowing her mates’ decks whenever she could she had idea what she’d have to do!

In 2006 she began a Music Technology Course at City College in Manchester. After using the in-college DJ booths over her first month she purchased her very on CDJs. After months of collecting all her favorite music, practicing her mixing and completing her Grade 3 Drums at college, she soon started playing at house parties, free parties and local festivals.

In 2007 she began working with Raw Fish Records helping to promote their showcasing nights and social networking events, she also promoted her own Techno / Drum & Bass night in September called Detonation.

In 2008 she began a 2 year Music and New Management Foundation Degree in Manchester, this assisted her in getting more work alongside Raw Fish Records including A&R, Web Design, managing various aspects of the label (including d6 records – a sub-brand of RF redords) and promotion.

In December 2008, after branching out into various genres within the industry, she reformed herself and her best work as Euphonique, and the story continues..
